Frequently Asked Questions 



May I do a pre-wedding trial, before I commit?

Absolutely. I want you to be 100% sure of your decision. I'd would love to work with you to create the look you want for your special day.  Also, please keep in mind that I can’t secure your wedding date until a signed contract and non-refundable booking fee are in place. I will do everything I can to accommodate your date but unfortunately I can’t hold it until the non-refundable booking fee is made. This fee is also deducted from your total balance.


Why is it important to have a bridal hair and makeup trial?

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life.  You already have so many things to plan and think about, why not alleviate one of the most important aspects. Plan ahead and have the peace of mind that your natural beauty is showcased with  beautiful hair and flawless skin on your special day. Be confident no matter what! 

The reason a trial is important... because its you!


Where does the bridal trial take place?

Trials are conducted in my studio. Most trials take approximately 1 to 2.5 hours, depending on the services we’ll be doing. I have free parking available for you.



When should I book my bridal trial?

I recommend scheduling your trial date 8 weeks before your wedding, after other details have been decided (venue, dress, veil, accessories, etc.).  These factors may help set the tone for the look you want.  Brides who do the trial session too early may end up changing their desired look. Will you travel to me on my wedding day?

I cover all over the panhandle area and destination locations.



What if I only need hair OR makeup, not both?

No problem! I’m happy to provide just one service in my studio or travel to location.


When should I book hair and makeup for my wedding day?

As soon as possible! Many brides book from 6 months to over 1 year in advance. Again, I will do everything in my power to accommodate your date however I must operate on a first-come-first serve basis. Your date is reserved with contract and non-refundable booking fee. 


How do I book?

To secure your event date, I require a signed contract and non-refundable booking fee.  The fee is deducted from your total balance. You can use the “Bridal Inquiry on my website and you can pay HERE to save your date.


Can I still book if I’m having a small, intimate wedding?

Absolutely! However a minimum fee may apply. There is no minimum if you come to the studio.


Do you offer a military discount?

Yes, and THANK YOU for your service! We proudly offer military and first responder appreciation pricing.  If the bride or groom is in the military or a first responder, the bride will receive 10% off of her wedding day services.  

This includes all military, police, firefighters, and EMT's - both active and retired. This offer is applicable to wedding day services for the bride only and our minimum booking of 6 must be met.


What happens if someone in my wedding party changes their mind after the contract 

and deposit have been sorted?

I completely understand that sometimes things change. In this case, your total fee for services remains the same, however I’m happy to transfer services on a 1 for 1 basis. In the event a new trial is required, it will need to be rebooked separately. If you would like to add additional members to the wedding party, please let me know as early as possible and in writing, so I can determine if the request can be accommodated.


If I’ve paid my full balance and my wedding plans change or cancel will I receive a refund?

In the unfortunate event that your plans change completely I offer two solutions. 1) I’m happy to apply the whole fee to a rescheduled future date, provided it is available.  2) You will receive a 50% refund of the total fee. This is simply due to the nature of securing a time/date for services.


I’m not sure of what hair and makeup look I want, can you help?

Of course! I love brides and weddings and want your day to be flawless! I suggest you first begin looking online (Pinterest and Instagram are great resources) or through magazines and find several hair and makeup photos that interest you.  During your trial, we will create a look based on what you like and personalize it to accentuate your features.


What kind of makeup brands/products do you use?

I only use high-quality, professional grade products, which ensure a long lasting and Flawless Finish. In my experience, no single brand has the best of everything.  My kit has a wide range of product lines which I have come to relay upon.  For airbrush foundation I use Temptu, which is silicone based, waterproof and extremely long lasting. 

Some of my favorite brands are HUDA BEAUTY, JUVIA'S, MAC, Makeup Forever, MORPHE, NARS, Smashbox and Urban Decay. I am not sponsored by any brand, these are truly the products and lines I have grown to trust.


*What is Airbrush makeup?

Airbrush makeup has become very popular for weddings is highly coveted in the world of bridal beauty and it is considered the industry standard. The airbrush makeup foundation that I use is silicone-based and is water resistant. It gives the skin a natural luminous finish no matter what level of coverage you desire. It also photographs beautifully. 

Airbrush makeup must be skillfully applied to the face with an airbrush gun, where gentle air pressure from the  compressor sprays the foundation as a very fine mist onto the skin. This method distributes the foundation in micro-fine layers giving a more natural finish and pure look. Airbrush makeup is also very long-lasting.
