What is Henna?

Henna is a dye prepared from the Lawsonia Inermis plant that grows in the North of Africa, the Middle East and India.

In its powder form it can be used to dye the skin, hair and other various materials.

How long do henna brows last?

Henna brow will last up to 7-14 days on the skin and up to 5-6 weeks on the hair. However, longevity will depend on skin , hair types, weather & aftercare.

How is brow henna different from regular tinting?

Henna brow often lasts longer than regular tinting, depending on the individual. Unlike regular tints, henna tinting also works to strengthen the eyebrow hair, more so with each application.

Who is best suited?

Clients wanting to achieve a powdered finish. Clients with spare hair, desiring bold & clean lines. Perfect for tattooed or microbladed brows a great alternative to refresh the brows.

Does henna brow have paraphenylenediamine (PPD) in its ingredients?

Henna brows do contain PPD, but almost all oxidative hair colourants contain a PPD type hair dye, more so for darker shades. PPD is the best way to achieve permanent hair color and is the only way of successfully coloring grey hair. However, henna brow has the lowest concentration of PPD on the market.

Is PPD dangerous?

No, PPD is safe to use in hair colorants as directed in the product instructions. There is a legal requirement for cosmetic products, and their ingredients, to be strictly assessed for safety by a duly qualified, professional assessor before they can be sold. PPD may only be used in hair colorants and only up to a certain level (up to a maximum of 2% when applied to the hair).

When is Hello Henna Brow not suitable for a client?

We advise not to book Hello Henna Brow if:

You have not yet had a patch test or its been less than 48 hours since your patch test.
You have had allergic reactions to henna/black henna tattoo applications previously
You have had allergic reactions to other hair/eyebrow dyes previously
Your skin is irritated or wounded
You are pregnant or breastfeeding

What is Hola Brow Tint?

It’s a semi-permanent brow dye. It's used to enhance, shape and define brows.

How long do tint brows last?

2-5 days on the skin, 4 weeks on the hair. However, longevity will depend on skin , hair types, weather & aftercare.

Who is best suited?

Clients wanting a soft & natural looking brow. Clients already having full brow hair.

When is Hola Brow Tint not suitable for a client?

We advise not to book Hola Brow tint if:

You have not yet had a patch test or its been less than 48 hours since your patch test.
You have had allergic reactions to brow tint applications previously
You have had allergic reactions to other hair/eyebrow dyes previously

What is Hybrid Brow Tint ?

Is a permanent brow tint that targets the skin, as well as the brow hairs and holds the tint the longest!

How long does hybrid brow tint last?

7-10 days on the skin, 7 weeks on the hair. However, longevity will depend on skin , hair types, weather & aftercare.

Who is best suited?

Clients that want a super long lasting tint that targets the skin, as well as the brow hair and holds the tint the longest. Perfect for tattooed or microbladed brows a great alternative to refresh the brows.

When is Hybrid Brow Tint not suitable for a client?

We advise not to book Hybrid Brow tint if:

You have not yet had a patch test or its been less than 48 hours since your patch test.
You have had allergic reactions to brow tint applications previously
You have had allergic reactions to other hair/eyebrow dyes previously
Your skin is irritated or wounded
You are pregnant or breastfeeding

What is fluffy brow lamination?

Is fluffy brow lamination suitable for me?

How long does a fluffy brow lamination treatment take?

The process can take up to 20 minutes however, other tinting and hair removal techniques are incorporated into the treatment. When brow lamination is incorporated into the HD Brows treatment, it should take roughly 55-60 minutes.

How long does fluffy brow lamination last?

Brow lamination results last up to 8-12 weeks following aftercare instructions.

IN THE FIRST 24 HOURS AFTER TREATMENT

Avoid contact with water
Avoid heat treatments/facials
Avoid sunbathing for 24-hours
Avoid swimming for at least 24 hours after your treatment
Avoid using AHAs around the brow area
Do not sleep on the brows
Do not rub, pull or pick at the area treated
Do not take a sauna, steamy shower or sweat excessively
Do not apply any cream or oils around the eyebrow area
Do not apply any makeup on the brows
